Best Multiplayer FPS?

What is the best multiplayer FPS (Free/P2P) you have played and why?

Mine has to be COD4. The reason being is because I own all the whole COD series and the only one I play is that one. It really took the series to a new level and it is still (in my opinion) the best COD out there. COD4 offers a nice variety in map design and also guns...GOLD GUNS

The oldschool game mode was awesome too sniping with the M40 provided a good challenge and once perfected was deadly.

COD WaW, it was the most graphically pleasing and lag free of the COD series.

Get CSS, its amazing. you may need alot of practice though

 

Counter Strike Source. Just raw skill is required and once your pretty good at it, its probably the most fun game. Plus its cheap

 

Best? CS 1.6. It was the first and i sued to play it for hours on hours. Was an one of a kind game back in the day.

 

CS 1.6 is fantastic. But for console I'd vote Call of Duty 2.

For me, itd probably have to be Battlefield 2. Lots of fun with vehicles and normal shooting. Nice mix and really fun online.

Counter strike source is still the best game for me. I grew up with 1.6 and switched to source when it was released and never stopped playing it. But it is kinda hard to start playing it now because there are alot of hardcore players there. + css has no limit at all. There are new maps every single hour and there is a shitload of mods around. COD4 was good to but it got bored very quickly.

 

actually battlefield bad company 2 is fun as hell, ive been playing it and its just fun

COD4 Promod, that's usually all I play.
It takes a fair bit of skill, and the community is good.
Also there are not screaming 10 year olds as on consoles.

 

Combat Arms is my favorite free FPS, even though there are hackers and 10 year olds screaming and booting you for actually having skill, in general Combat Arms is the most fun to me. Even more than A.V.A, which comes at a close second.

 

I'd say Counter-Strike. Old, but still amazing.

Lol I forgot about Combat Arms. It is super fun. I also like operation 7 ahha
