    DVI-D Issues

Today I put a new i5 CPU and GA-P55A-UD3 Motherboard in my computer. I am running Windows 7 64x. My monitor is a Dell 2001FP. For some strange reason I can't get it to display with a DVI-D cable. It worked fine before my hardware upgrade.

Oh, I'm using a nVidia 8800 GTS on this computer.

Any suggestions? It works fine with VGA. (However I'm using a DVI to VGA converter in order to use the VGA cable)

Check to make sure there are no driver updates.

    I did, thanks though.
Turned out to be a faulty cable (seriously).

    Found out after
    1. Updating drivers
    2. Freaking formatting
    3. Hunting down the .inf file for a 6 year old monitor
    4. Switching out various parts in my computer
    5. God knows what else.
