Attention Everyone Buying Dead Island Keys Or Portal 2 Keys

These keys come from www.fkn0wned.com and they hacked the database and your steam account will be banned if you buy these games.

Ofc, they comes as always without scans. That's why it's NOT good buying keys without scans from untrusted & unverified members & sources.

The worst thing that can happen you'll get your game taken away from your steam account, there's no chance they'll ban you.

 

Haven't the keys been sold for ages before the hack even took place? :|

 

Thanks for this info, I'm glad I decided to put it on my alt account, although if I lose MW2/Just Cause 2 because of it that'd be a bummer.

 

I highly doubt that you can get youre account banned as you can get keys from a lot of places.

Misleading thread, these keys WILL NOT GET YOUR ACCOUNT BANNED! Max. what can happen is steam removing them, but that never happens.

This is true. I used DI for 3$ and portal2, my account got suspended.

Your account got disabled because it was:
a - overtraded
b - shared
c - hacks
d - you buyed carded gift
e - you scamed someone and he reported you
d - you used hacked pp or cc or whatewer

No one have proof that his acc got disabled , and will never have.
To much keys were leaked and valve doesn't know what keys are leaked exactly.

Only truth here is that buying DI / P2 keys for like 40$ from sellers above is stupid.

Anyone who sell keys in bulk is "non legit" seller , and even with scans that acc's/keys can also be disabled/banned.

 

The thing is, I don't know that Steam will necessarily hold their users accountable for it. I don't think they'd ban an entire account (not sure, but I'm willing to doubt it), because the person bought one or two keys from a shady dealer. You can go on ebay right now (a "legitimate" retailer) and easily purchase keys for these two games that could have likely originated from the so-called "leak". Granted, buyers ultimately make the choice of where they get their products from, but Steam really can't hold the ignorance of a consumer against them. I would think they'd probably VAC ban your game or disable it somehow; not the entire account.

 

Steam is just a client.. Worse they will do is take the game they have no rights to ban your acc. Key could of come form anywhere..

but personally, I doubt that the account was disabled for this.

 

DF was manually VAC Banned by Valve (bypass the method to get the Golden Wrench, some stuff like these), then hired by… Valve in August to their company.

So far we've got 2 x suspended steam accounts then. The man from my picture & Zheleja.
