Attempted Scam for Near Max Iron

Explanation:
- Reaches out to me to sell a near maxed iron for $150. He accepts
- He shared login / code to login to JL for inspection. Everything checks out
- I review the account status and notice JL email and the communication email does not check out
- He insists on changing the the JL to my email and payment immediately
- I ask to first change the communication email since it was the email the account was created on based on my inspection
- He sends me a link for communication email change. I change it successfully BUT it was for some random account as he tried to deceive me and not the account in question (###)
- He then sends link to change the JL email address to mine
- I successfully change it. One last inspection before payment, I realised what he did (See ### above)
- I told him I need it changed and he tried BSing me.

Informed Titanite, the owner of the open market server, to kick him out as he's pulling off a scam. I am emailing the original owner of the account (which i got from JL data download) as logs show email was changed from theirs on 19 Jul which was the first JL email ever. This is a stolen account I am certain.

Note 1: From the beginning, he said he has access to the original email and then BS'd me. Noticed he was reported for impostering YanLiLi.

Note 2: I am off on an Europe trip for ~2.5 weeks starting in 4 hours. I will keep an eye here but bear with me if I am inactive. I a expecting this JL account to be locked by Jagex forever anyway as I suspect OO already logged in a recovery request for a JL.

They advised they do not feel comfortable proceeding with me returning the account. They have already sent a recovery. Evidence of the scammer cleaning bank provided with them.

They'd like to wait for Jagex to respond instead of me returning the account.

Hello - yes the person who got scammed for this account here - Rogue Services did kindly offer to return the account but I already put in the account recovery, so I will wait for that instead of risking giving out any further information related to this account.

Yes, I recorded the whole interaction and have it saved on my PC - I also have all the proof that I am the OO.
I also have access to the email that Rogue Services covered in the screenshot.

It is a JL. If his recovery gets denied or even accepted as he’s OO, Jagex never returns JL account. It gets locked forever in both sceneario.

My suggestion is I transfer his account back to his original email now. He might be able to cancel his recovery request.
