Assistance on Botting

I'm a rather high leveled player, only ever botted once on my account for a single 99. Currently in the billions for overall XP, and aiming for 120s, however, due to lack of time and concentration for a select few skills that I really detest, was looking into botting again. I was looking for a tip, guide, how-to kind of thread, but couldn't find one to safely bot as I don't intend to do those 24/7 bots, just botting to mimic my current hourly input. If anyone can point me to a guide of sorts, I would truly appreciate it, or opinions on whether one should bot on such a high leveled account at all (although I have encountered players with less overall xp than myself punished for botting but only have a small fraction of their xp reset, no ban whatsoever...).

Also, if caught, are there any veterans here for botting that noticed what the severity of punishment for a high leveled player vs a new account? I would imagine the high leveled players would get a warning before ban, but I'm unaware so I would like to find out.

Lastly, what are these private scripts? Where do I find them? I see the list of recommended sites, but I cannot find any of these 'private' scripts people are talking about.

why would you risk something you put so much effort into?
just make another account and bot it, runescape, yes is a competition game, but you'll never reach the top 100 at this point, and if you do you'll need to spend the next 5 years grinding 24/7 efficiently skilling with no tick wasting or exp wasting.

private scripts are scripts that people create, similar to a paid script, which might include a different anti-ban pattern then what a free script contains, giving a lower ban rate.

 

Don't do it! Trust me, botting on RS3 is a suicide right now. You could get banned from doing alching with a bot these days.. Also basically all the "private" and "public" bots are outdated and somewhat bugged.
If you are thinking about botting in OSRS, then this idea might just work if you'd really want, but keep in mind that botting in RS3 not worth it, its the main game and the main focus from Jagex goes there. You think they let bots come back so fast again?

 

I would definitely stay away from botting, the general consensus is that there is no "undetectable" botting software on the market at the moment (still waiting on RID). I personally attest to autoclicking tho, its a lot more complex but if you are willing to take the time to learn you will reap the rewards. I have autoclicked an account to max (including invention). It really depends on the script. If you choose a good script and bot for reasonable timeframes, it's pretty much undetectable. I normally test scripts on expendable accounta before I use it on my main. I have an herblore script for goldfarming that I've run for at least 500 hours across many accounts and never had any problems. I also have gotten many 99s on my main from botting as well.

Also, there's no difference in severity. If they auto detect you botting, then they will manually look to see how long you've been botting for. If for a long time, youll get perm banned no matter what.

jagex doesnt care if your new or old account I believe, if you bot you get banned simple as.
