Assembly LOL

I'm looking into learning Assembly. It seems interesting to learn this because everyone says it is the only true language that interacts directly to the microprocessor, but what are some of the useful things it provides? I know it helps you efficiently code, but can someone who has played with assembly tell me the pros of the languages, and if it is honestly worth the time put into learning it?

 

It's worth learning if you're into reverse engineering.

 

Your programs will be a lot more efficient. Assembly is a great language to program a small microprocessor. If you have the time and you want to learn then I say go ahead.

 

Understanding the big picture will make you a better programmer. If you know what makes your program lag, you will know how to make it more efficient therefore your end products will be better. I am forced to take it this year
