Specs for RS and Minecraft

I was wondering if these specs could run Runescape with good settings and Minecraft with good FPS. I don't play any games but those so I think they'd be perfect, but I need someone who really knows.

AMD 2.9Ghz Athlon II Dual Core Processor
AMD Radeon 4270 Graphics Processor (I'd like to also know if an intel I3 would be better or worse)
6GB Memory
1TB Hard Drive

Depends what type of i3 but that GPU is crap. A 2125 or 2130 would be a good substitute. I shouldn't say the gpu is crap, but it's iffy in my opinion as to whether or not it will work for you.

Are you building this yourself or is this prebuilt, and what is your budget?
You should definitely upgrade the GPU if you can

 

No need for the 1TB hard drive if its just MC and RS no?

These are both more than enough to run Runescape and Minecraft
A computer that can run Minecraft at max shouldn't cost much more than $400, but I think the extra money is worth it if you can afford

 

Looks good, I was looking at the HP Touchsmart computers because they have WIFI connectivity though.

 

All computers made in the past 5 years have wifi connectivity lol

Desktop? Build your own and you'll save a bunch of money.

 

Desktop computers don't usually come with wifi, except for certain types like the touchsmart. Laptops are basically required to have them now. If you're looking for a desktop, there's a good chance it won't join the internet wirelessly, if that's what you expected. You could always buy a wireless card for your desktop, which would enable you to use wifi.

I personally have a laptop with an i3 processor, only 4GB of RAM and a 320GB Hardrive. RuneScape plays flawlessly, and when I played Minecraft a few months back it was fine.
