You need to work on creating a definite light source - although this is usually pretty hard with cartoon stocks/renders, which is why I tend to steer away from them, if it's for a SOTW, then I attempt to find a loophole using a photograph.
The Signature is a bit too long, and the main render of the Articuno is not very well placed - shorten the entire piece, and place the bird more in the center.
That's all for now :) There's a fair bit more to work on, but we can focus on that another time.

ok well its a bit plain and theres a big huge space with nothing there also the light source is in the top right far away from the render

so what i would do different , enlarge the render , and center it i would also start with a black background layer then smudge a few layers of the render for the starting colour, then do what you want mess around with layers and stuff c4ds brushes .. but to sort out the lighting i would put it close to your render either where its looking or below it what ever suits you. the way i produce a decent light source is to create a new layer fill it with black then put the layer on linear dodge , then take a very soft brush and make it quite big and choose what couler you want your light then use this brush where you want your light and that will helpyou i think infact il make one doing what i said to show you the difference :) hope you dont think im telling you what to do just trying t help you improve.

Thanks for the advice Alt ;)

I realised the sig was too long when I was having a hard time figuring out what to do with the left side, but I remembered that it was automatically on 450x150 from one of the tutorials I did earlier :p

Thanks for the advice Big in Jap :)
