    Tingly/swollen finger tips

today after school me and some friends walked to this one "spot" and on the way to the spot apparently there was poison oak. now i went there at like 3 which was 5 hours ago. since like the past 10 minutes some of my fingertips are starting to feel really tingly and odd...and im not sure if they are swollen or not because i just cant recall how my fingertips normally look, but they look sorta swollen. it feels really wierd when i touch them, resembling the feeling of touching your foot after its fallen asleep.
i dont know whats wrong...i looked on google for a little but couldn't find any answers that helped. im thinking i might of gotten some poison oak on my fingertips...but why wouldnt it start earlier then this?

A part of your body would start to tingle if theres not enough oxygen going to it. Since its only your fingers anad not your hole are it could be an allergic reaction that had a delay. It could go away or it could get worse. The poision oak release a chemical which irritates the skin. If your finger is itchy and red there is a good chance you have it.

If you sill have it in 2 days go to a doctor.

If your finger starts changing colors you mite seriously want some medical help because if it goes to black it needs to be amputated.

I jsut researched it for u and it can get alot more serious. I just relized im making a dubble post but dont want to go back and change old one. THis can be caused by poor circualtion which can lead to stroke (rare). Or nerve problems(not so rare.) This can also be caused by carpaltunnels syndrome.

this can lead to permanant lose of feeling. i would go to a doctor if it doesnt go away soon.

Asked my mom. If it spreads, than it could be an allergic reaction.

Take some Benadryl and observe it.

I smoked a couple bowls with my friend after a dentist appointment so my teeth were hella numb, after we smoked they felt like pudding...but trapped in my mouth it was fucking great
