No more combat styles?

I know EoC changed how you choose your combat style (defense, strength, attack, or combined), but I can't find any way to do that now...

Edit: Most importantly is that apparently recruitment drive is impossible now because you need to kill a level 10 creature, and it looks like strength is what determines unarmed combat ability. It's literally impossible. I'm combat level 70 and I can't kill a fucking level 2 rat.

 

There was an option to choose which combat style you wanted to train. It used to be in the tab that showed you what creature you were fighting and what bonuses you had activated - also where you choose auto retaliate. So the option is there somewhere, not sure where in the NIS though, but it's there. They wouldn't take away the ability to choose which combat style you train lol.

Use a strength potion if you're not hitting very well, with abilities.

 

Can't take a strength potion into druidic rituals. It's a fist fight with NO items. And my strength is still at 1. I've literally clicked EVERY possible button and nothing allows me to choose the combat style.

 

Open up your abilities interface (Powers Interface) and the option is right under your character

 

I really don't understand, the above picture shows where you gain XP for when you kill something.

What do you mean by choosing your strength? When you hit something ALL your combat skills are involved eg. str/attk/def

 

My melee abilities window is a dinky little thing with only a few options and it looks nothing like that.

 

From what I read, I figured he needed help finding out how to choose to train a specific combat style sooooo that's why I showed the picture. I might have understood wrong though.

With your little bar down the bottom click this;


It should take you to where you can select your skills.
