Say no to Paypal !!!

Paypal has limited my account twice in the weeks time for random reasons and a friend of mine got 800$ charge-back fraud. Paypal cant protect its sellers and keeps limiting and freezing funds for random reasons. For instance this time it said they want to investigate my sells. To get rid of the limitation i have to send them same files i sent them last time my acc was limited. Wtf ???? They say they want to investigate ..... go ahead and investigate , why do i have to keep sending u the same files over and over again. And my account is 10$ in minus cause of charge-back fraud and paypal says it is investigating it . Fuck it, the other guy wasnt even verified. If that hasn't happened to you yet be sure it will. There are countless complaints about paypal. Its time to say no to paypal !!

 

For selling virtual good PayPal sucks.
No matter what you do the buyer can always claim the money back...unless you have a business account. :'(

What if you deposit (or withdraw?) your money from PayPal to your credit card/bank account and your PP gets frozen, do you lose any money?

 

No you wont, and thanks for alternative options. Paypal really sucks , i m so pissed on them.

 

Yeah, I recently sold 50M for 50$, buyer disputed the cash. Now I am waiting for the result. This is so goddamn wrong.

 

PayPal would be so perfect without disputes...

 

I agree with iLikePaper - without disputes Paypal would be extremely ideal for all online purchases. Too many people are getting scammed.

If your account is Premier or Business can buyers still successfully chargeback, even if the payment is sent as a gift with a note?

HappyFace - it looks like someone may have sent you money using an Unverified Paypal. Also you're unverified so that's an issue too.

Get Verified (Premier/Business is best) and you will most likely not encounter many issues with Paypal.

 

He had a verified paypal and I am unable to un-limit my account because I'm not adding a credit card and I'm not putting any other details there because I'm not 18. I'll try get a prepaid visa card and unlimit it.

 

I'm 17 and I fund my Paypal via Bank Transfers. It's easy to get verified if you're not 18. Try linking your bank account to your Paypal, or if you're unable to for some reason get a prepaid visa card.

Getting verified will solve many problems you encounter regarding limitations.

 

Just call em up, usually solves the problem for most cases.

 

Just a little FYI to all of you. I just recently received this from paypal regarding payment via GIFT.

 

Dont get your hoped too high , 95% of the times buyer wins .... even if he tryes to scam u. Paypal is the n1 place for scammers. Basically i could buy billions of RS money and then file in chargeback and get all my money back and sell the gold. Thats just so fucked up and very unfair.

 

Suppose you had chat logs, proof of confirmation of receiving something, and proof of PMs etc ? Would you win a dispute with that ?

 

I have only had a problem with paypal once.
I sold an account for $180 and he tried to charge back but luckily I made him put

"I am paying for an item I have already received and will not dispute this transaction. If I do, I am scamming."

In the note and I just refered to that in my defense and I rightfully won the dispute.

 

Just send them something via post such as an old yugioh, pokemon or dragonballz card may cost a little but could save you big.

 

Don't get your hopes up, Paypal dislikes us NZ folk and even if you have 3 credit cards, passport, drivers licence, payslips and bills loaded with them they just like fuck you.
