Could be. This was 07 tribot.

 

I'd suggest clearing all .dat files as well as limiting botting times to 12 hours max during daytime hours of the IP being used.

No one really knows exactly what methods they use to ban people, mouse tracking, time played, etc. probably all play a big role though.

Just bot smart, switch up skills, use breaks, mix in some legit play, use well made/solid scripts etc. to reduce your chances is the only advice that can help.

 

Never been banned doing that, but botting 1 skill constantly yeah..

 

Jagex's banning system is borderline random, which is what makes it so difficult to evade bans perfectly since they are so unpredictable.

Yohojo summed it up nicely, basically, trying your best to not look like a bot decreases your chances of getting banned for botting. But I suppose that is obvious.
