Failed a random - what happens now?

Hi,

I was botting a skill and left for lunch. During this time, I was given a random event: the pirate on the island. My account was stuck there for some period of time - between 0 and 27 minutes (i think around 10-15 minutes is a good estimate). What happens now?

Does that mean I was automatically detected? Could another player have reported me?

(I know the outcomes of macroing minor offenses)

You sure? I know Jagex is incompetent and all, but a player clicking the ocean for fifteen minutes in a random event should ring some bells.

 

I've had that like a million times.. I doubt anything will happen just make sure it isn't there for like hours lol

 

Nothing. I've failed countless randoms for hours on end on both my main and other accounts without consequences.

 

Botting is safe now w/o joke.

I botted 1-99fletching no break in ~ week 1-86fishing in 4days no ban.
Botted my main 1-80dung during a 4day no break i posted my log here its been 2weeks still no ban.

Ive been stuck so many times jagex do nothing. Im sure they randomly ban some bot sometimes but Massive ban = half runescaperz banned.

 

if your worried don't bot for a few days, if you don't get the hammer go back to it.

 

you've got nothing to worry about at this moment but becareful your account might be sensitive now to dection

 

don't bot for a few days, the next step after a fail random is check for bcl.

 

Uou have completely nothing to worry about, even real players screw up their random events and fail them.

If you start to get random events more and more frequently though, I'd take a break on the account for a few days.

 

If you fail 40/50 random events, that may be a problem. But if you failed just one, its not the end of the world. If you notice you get a random again, do it legit. then you will be fine.

 

You're fine, just make sure it doesn't happen too often.

 

My account once got stuck in a random for 16 hours.
It's still alive.

I had an account stuck at the freaky forester dude for like 3 hours, and received a ban. I've also had an account stuck at the grave one for over 6 hours, and received no ban til this day. It all depends on the time of the place, so the ban can never really be predicted in situations like this. Best advice would be to play legit for a little while before you go back to botting again, or bot something else. In this case, I doubt only being stuck for 15 min will do much though, unless people were there reporting you, which in this case you would be flagged as suspicious.
