has anyone heard about this, can someone give me more details on this?

lol nope, I mean like jagex has come up with a thread where you can request your account details to be all wiped out

my question is, how would they determine if your the real owner.. just with IP address? if so how?

 

I'm sure you'd have to be able to provide some sort of details to show that you indeed are the original owner of the account.

 

all they require from you is your screen name and an optional description

 

someone has to know

interesting lol.. its not too new either.. surprised no1 else has brought this up

 

They don't just require username,it's for people who are getting hacked or someone is trying to hack them basically.

Jagex looks into who knows the most information and locks the account for saftey until the original owner submits an account recovery request.
