Are Paladins Overpowered?

It's been nerfed before so you never know, as for hunters kiting ^^ I always get them when they try that

 

If you honestly think pallys are over powered l2play your class. the game is balanced unless youre a druid or a dk and blizzard has admitted that. even warlocks are very op atm. and yes i can say this because I have played all of these to gladiator ratings along with other classes. If you seriously want to get me going into statistics and shit i'd be more than happy to prove to you how they really are compared to every other class.

 

He has a point about the nerfing. It's been complained about since forever ago, and very little has been done about it.

 

to be honest a mage can spellsteal a pallys bubble, counterspell exorcism, keep pyroblasting and firebolting till they get low health, then sheep the pally so they can have a nice health potion, then finish the pally off, my mage is only lvl 26 yet i know this would work, just need to develop a strategy against them, if worst comes to worst and i run out of potions, i sheep him then use invisibility to escape

 

this is also a good, valid point. you can really argue that any class is overpowered if you just have a good strategy with them. i personally don't think any classes are unfairly overpowered, because all classes have their advantages AND their drawbacks. if you develop a good system and tactic with your class, you can counter other classes who may seem "overpowered".

 

They are really overpowered.

 

They're over powered, yea but I've taken down a lot of 'twinked' pallies at lower levels of the BG bracket. I took down one on my rogue at level 65 with: ambush, gouge, vanish, garrote, Evis, SS, slice and dice and then just raped him after that. I've gotten one down but barely survived with my Shammy, and I downed one with a pretty good fight with my DK.

 

Yeah see they're not exactly OP, you just have to know what you're doing to kill a skilled Pally player.

 

My 80 destruction warlock can full HP them...it balances out a tiny bit at maxed bracket except for those fucking rogues XD!

 

they can 4 button mash for each doing 2k+ yes they are OP people cried about feral druids in PVE when PvP has a serious problem

 

People really need to stop QQing about pallys being OP. If you know how to play your class you can down them. Yes they are OP,QQing since 07. Blizzards not going too listen >.>

 

not likely even a bad paladin knows how to bubble/heal and mash 3-4 buttons i can only see someone downing a paladin is if the paladin has bad gear.

Ex.gemming intellect or somethin

half of WoW knows Ghost is full of shit and as for dk's being the best class get real they come close but lose to pallies

 

Pallies aren't OP. They were in 3.0.

They've always been beatable with skill.

 

As long as you keep paladins at a distance, they're not a pain in the ass. I play hunter and shaman, so I just either trap them or earthgrab them to keep them in place.

 

Yeah like Verts said any class that can kite a ret (Frost Mage, for example) will have a fighting chance against them. Melee classes, such as Rogues in particular, are suicidal for trying to take one down 1v1.

 

pally stuns take kiting them out of the picture.
burst dmg anybody? if you somehow manage to survive the initial attack and do get a chance to nova and blink....guess what? BUBBLE!

...If your a good mage,and Encounter a pally 1v1 make sure you summon your Water Elemental ,Before the paladin can get in stun-range make sure your Pet you use it's "Frost nova" Now then you start kiting,And if you have talent points in "Shatter" You'll get alot of Crits in before the pally will hit you, If the pally is low on health be prepared for him too bubble. Blink away instantly,Mount-up. Run away a good 35-40 yards,Once the pallys bubble is down....Kite.

 

It's always the divine storm that gets me. If I manage to get away from that, I heal up quick and kite them about with my earthbind totem and frost shock >_O
