Is Defence a big factor in Rapier stakes?

If an account with 99 Attack, 99 Strength, 99 HP and 1 Defence were to (Rapier) stake an account with 99 Attack, Strength and Defence & HP 10 times would the 1 defence account get any wins at all or would the defence be too much of a factor?

I was thinking with the bonuses of the Rapier and no defensive bonuses that the match would be close but the 99 Defence account would have the obvious edge but how close would the fights actually be?

Defence will only make them hit YOU more. It would definately make a differance, probably a bad differance. A account with even stats would definately do better than a pure with 99 atk/strenght.

 

Even though the Rapier is a strength weapon, out of ten times, the maxed staker would probably win 7/10,
But this is from my personal opinion.

 

Obviously the account with higher defence would win.

 

meh yall feller know nuttin' bout stakin... 87/50/87 and 99 hp is the best staker you'll ever have.

 

If you had an account with 99 attack and strength and put it against an account with even stats but also the same combat level. Would the even levels account still rape the account with 1 defence?

 

i think the def acc would still win, gets hit alot less more often

 

you would be lvl 89 with 99 attk and str 1 def and 99 hp...

lvl 87 with 70 attk/str/def and 99 hp...

personally i think the pure is going too win because the attack outrageously over powers the defense... in a boxing match the pure would win, in a armour and wepons match, the main would have a good chance of winning

Higher Defence makes a huge difference when it comes to staking. It should be self explanatory and the chances are slim.

 

Defence is crucial in rapier stakes, you'll just keep getting hit everytime and probably as high as you will be able to hit on them.

 

I would think that the defence does have quite a high effect. I would have a medium balance on a staker.

 

I would say a Maxed 99/99/0 person would own a player with <99/<99/>0

I am 95/96/91 and maxed characters lower than me hit more often and harder on me regardless of my defence...

 

Yes and no. It all depends on the build and type of fights your going for.

If youve got like 99/99/1 your going for fast fights where you deal as much damage as possible. But you are not going to want to fight people with a high attack because they will probably beat you.

 

Defense is a big factor if your fighting people that are maxed. 80-99-50 would do loads better than 99-99-20 or anything around that. I don't think you should get the 99 attack, you'd do a lot better with just staying 80 attack and maybe getting some defense.

Yeah, defence is a big diference i was staking on my maxed rune pure and getting spank by people with higher def. If you wana rapier stake use your main.

 

Perhaps you should try it, record you win/loss ratio. Then work out how you could wager maxed stats vs your 1 defence, say.. 2x,3x or 4x your stake? Then find a way to make it profitable.
