Some guy was trying to sell me an Auth Generator. he claims he is an IT engineer and that the auth codes are cracked from Rsbots auth storage

Is this legit or an obvious phisher?

There aren't "auth generators" however there are programs that give you free auths but they are usually open source and free and based on leaked auths that get banned fast. Also he sounds like a scammer.
