Hello Crux Community members! Today we are releasing another patch with many updates based on YOUR feedback, along with multiple bug fixes and quality of life changes.



I also want to thank everyone for joining our Q&A session last weekend. We enjoyed answering your questions, and will be using your feedback in future updates. Expect another session in the future!

• Slayer Rework part 2 is here
  • New Slayer master - Krystilia!
    • A special slayer master that assigns tasks that can only be completed in the wilderness
    • She can be selected as a master from the Slayer button in the Skilling tab of your slayer menu, and is located in Edgeville
    • Available tasks include all NPCs that live in the wilderness, from the lowly Ghosts all the way up to Wilderness Bosses
    • Her tasks reward 25 points each, which multiplies with your consecutive streak. A big reward for those who enjoy risk
    • Players also have a chance of receiving a Mysterious Emblem for completing her tasks, which can be traded for PK points
  • Full Slayer Helmet Redesigned
    • Colored FSH’s provide their 15% damage bonuses to all monsters, even when off task.
    • Each helmet will also give a powerful bonus to a certain combat style
      • Red FSH = FSH stats + additional strength bonus + 1% chance to roll double melee max hit (working off task)
      • Green FSH = FSH stats + additional ranged strength and accuracy bonus + 1% chance to roll double range max hit (working off task)
      • Black FSH = FSH stats + additional magic base damage multiplier and accuracy bonus + 1% chance to roll double magic max hit (working off task)
    • Regular FSH will no longer work off task
  • Added a few more tasks to Turael, the level 1 Slayer master
  • Fixed Zygomite tasks, Fungicide added to slayer shop
  • Fixed Desert Lizard tasks, Ice cooler added to slayer shop
  • Cockatrices now require Mirror Shields to fight, or else your combat stats will be drained by 3 for every hit. Mirror Shields added to slayer shop
  • Kraken, Abyssal Sire, and Cerberus tasks assigned by Sumona (level 92 master) now require you to kill the boss and not their minions (i.e killing abby demons for sire task)
  • Your slayer task in the quest menu now updates each kill
  • Using a slayer ring to teleport to a wilderness task will teleport you right outside of the wilderness, not into it
  • Lava dragons have been added as a slayer task
  • You can now purchase double experience and experience packs from the rewards slayer interface

• Wilderness resource area has been added
  • To enter the area you need 3 million coins (you must have cash in your inventory!)
  • Upon relogging you will be moved outside the area
  • Experience is 1.5x in this area
  • You can note items for a fee using Piles (you must have cash in your inventory!)

• Changes to Death mechanics:
  • Ultimate Ironmen who reclaim items at Death will now have the items placed at their feet, and not into the bank
  • Hardcore Ironmen will now have their demise announced globally, gf
  • All Ironmen who die in Zulrah will have items placed on the ground in their Zulrah instance, not sent to Death
  • Any player dying in GWD outside of a boss room will have their items dropped on the ground
  • Reclaiming at death no longer spams your chat box, and now only says the total cost

• Lava dragon isle has been added
  • They drop Draconic visage at an increased rate
  • Lava dragon bones are currently the best in slot bone to use on altar
  • If you bury Lava dragon bones at Lava dragon isle you receive even more bonus experience, the yield is better than using on altar (this also works with bone crusher)

• Overloads new boost all combat stats (excluding prayer and hitpoints) by 5 + 15% of your level
• Tentacle Whip Special attack will now bind instead of stun.
• Changed Daily Task “Solve a Hard clue” into “Solve a Clue Scroll”. Any level of clue will work
• Venenatis now respawns in 24 seconds (40 ticks), down from 60 seconds
• Added Dark Crab fishing to Wilderness Resource Area
• Wilderness Resource Area now gives 1.5x exp to all skills when inside
• Dharok NPC has damage corrected, and now more accurately follows the armor’s effect
• Reduced amount of Stardust dropped from Elf Warriors
• Easter event is over, see you all next year!
  • Easter event will begin 5 days before Easter and end 5 days after
  • Eggs also optimized to not overload the server anymore
• Varrock mine clue now has the right dig spot
• Zulrah will now roll twice on the drop table for a unique drop, like in OSRS
• You can now fletch dragon arrows
• CTRL+V support has been added to the client
• We have advanced the common error quick-fix system within the client to better resolve common issues based on feedback we've received over the last 6 months

In other news…

• 2h swords no longer cause issues with hands and feet
• Duplicate context menus in instances and godwars has been fixed
• Possibly fixed pathing issues making you run back and forth
• The log shortcut to red dragons has been fixed
• Fixed smuggling of items into FFA (you lose them on exit, not sure why this was abused?)
• The attack speed of trident has been increased by 1 tick
• The daily task “Gain 3,000 Loyalty points” will now only notify once per minute to prevent spamming
• Reclaiming noted Extremes, Overloads, Super Prayers, and Super Antifires now go into the bank as the correct items
• Changed stunning to not prevent button clicks entirely, this was causing configs to bug, allowing you to light up your entire prayer book
• Right-clicking when closing an interface no longer causes the context menu to close
• Dragon melee distance fixed
• Ice Queen no longer freezes you if her attack doesn’t hit
• Switching 2-handed weapons now makes unequipped items go into the right slots
• Kraken Tentacle is now correctly dropped when you die
• “Your account is already logged in” should happen less often should your account not be able to load
• Duo Slayer tasks now check to see if your partner has certain tasks unlocked.
• Can no longer throw bows
• Made skipping slayer tasks more consistent
• Fixed max hit of Dark Wizards in Wilderness
• Dragon javelin heads added to Demonic gorilla, Black, Lava, Mithril, Red and steel dragons
• Dragon javelin heads are more common from King black dragon
• Javelin heads are now tradable
• Ecumenical key now has the proper texture
• The bug disallowing firemaking in almost all locations has been fixed
• The bug disallowing following in almost all locations has been fixed
• Abyssal sire is now multi in all 4 chambers
• The mage arena is no longer multi
• You can now only use magic against battle mages in the mage arena
• The top pker crown has been fixed in normal chat
