rolling a cigarette!

a few months ago i bought a cigarette roller, it literally rolls cigarettes for you. Now i have decided to learn to roll them by hand, i can do everything up to the tuck and roll part, does any1 have tips and suggestions on how to make that part easier? i have watched near enough 20 videos on youtube, and they show you what they are doing, but in a way where you would need to know what your doing while doing it, not really learning how to do it, if that makes sense

 

Rolling in general, practice makes perfect, you will get it eventually Just keep trying!

 

just keep on practicing it's basically just muscle memory, if you keep on doing it you'll get better. watch one of your friends roll that always helped me.

Why are you rolling cigarettes? I thought they came in a pre-rolled form when you purchase them. I would suggest you apply those rolling techniques to a more useful crop (Marijuana).

 

Basically what you want to do is take your forefingers and pinch down the ends of the paper over the tobacco and use your thumbs to roll it up. You repeat the process until it is as tight as you want it. You then lick the glue part of the paper and roll it all the way up with your thumbs.

That is the best way I can explain it. It takes practice like others have said. When I was 14 I literally just rolled cigarettes over and over again until I taught myself how to roll.

 

Rolling cigs is when you buy the tobacco, the filter and the paper. some poeple just like the taste of the special combanation.

Practice makes perfect. Don't worry, after 5 years I still can't do it properly. I know people who can roll a cigarette with one hand while driving though.

Papers are cheap anyway, just take some tobacco and a bunch of papers, and keep trying until you roll a decent one.

 

Alright, I used to roll a lot of weed. I assume it's somehow similar to cigarettes. I make a boat(twist the end so that the tobacco doesn't come out) and put the filter on the mouth piece so that the tobacco doesn't come out the mouth piece either. Then put your tobacco in the middle and start squishing it together, and keep putting in tobacco until it's completely full. Tuck the side that doesn't have the sticky gum on it as tight as possible, and if it's solid, it's all good. Let me know if this helped.

When you roll a cigarette you need to stop the tobacco from going out from either end, so 1337Neo has a point.

Twisting limits amount of tobacco you'd put in your cigarette. I guess its good when you are learning but i've never done it. I just try to make sure I get a nice good pack of tobacco in my roll that way it doesn't fall out the front.

 

Not one of those cigarette filters that you find in cigarette cartons. But just really thick paper you find on business cards and what not. Here's a video of Wiz Khalifa putting a filter on. Edit: I just roll a circle filter, and put it in.

I suppose that applies to tobacco, but make a small twist is all I'm saying. I've never rolled tobacco before, but I can squish down a lot of weed in a joint, I rolled a 1g joint from regular zig zag papers with the twist and filter.

I don't know shit about cigarettes so sorry if this comes off as obvious or dumb, but by packing the cigarette yourself with just tobacco can you eliminate most of the halogens that come along with a popular manufactured brand, like say Newport?
