[APPROVED] New sub-section in Anti-Scam

Suggesting a new sub-section for reports that aren't ban evaders or scammers.

This will be the place for all other reports such as on ppl attempting to trade with a dnt, doxing issues, anti-scam?

 

Support. Given the increased reports, I feel like we can use a section just for ipker and Qemo aswell.

 

Dnt trade evasion should go in ban evasion section, doxing goes in RAS, anti-scam should be pmed to a mod then followed through in RAS, list other things please.

 

makes sense to me. if its not a scam and thats an excuse mods are using to close those threads, make a section where they can deal with those reports instead of just "PM a mod"

 

Fair point, seems like a good idea especially for the retards amongst us, support.

 

DNT evasion would mean using a different account to evade the DNT . Attempting to trade with a DNT is a different matter.

Doxing despite being wrong technically isn't a scam. See scam Meaning in the Cambridge English Dictionary or feel free to google the definition of a scam yourself

Again, an anti-scam technically isn't reporting a scammer so..

 

support as mods can deal with these types of reports when they have enough energy to deal with retards. they'll all be set aside in a different section of reports. great idea, sad I didn't think of it first.

I came to this section to make the same exact suggestion. There are many punishable rules outside these 2 categories and not all can be reported through "report post"

support. see "this isnt a scam report" in the ras section pretty much daily. some are troll but for the ones that arent its a good idea

 

Even the troll ones, if they are saying this isn't a scam it's because the report doesnt break any rules...

This has been needed for a good 5+ years now, it always just gets pushed down because of other priority's or lack of admins being available.

I support and would like @Shin or @Champ or another administrator to notice this to try to move things along because its getting old seeing 15 reports a day in RAS that are not even scam reports.

I would think even @Sythe might want to step in and get this done considering how shitty it makes the forum look with 100 people viewing RAS and half the reports(literally) are not even scam related. It's the same reason the banned rank was mostly done away with, temp banned to, it makes the forum look bad and like its filled with scammers when you have pages of reports in RAS but half are not even scams.

This has needed doing for a LONG time.

I would definitely not say 5+ years, not even 4, or 3. Infact, more so since DNT and discord. Back in the earlier days, rarely were the reports for doxing, threats, anti-scams and what not. Maybe every few months 1 obscure report would pop up, or even less.

The trend of moronic (read: users arguing back and forth) reports has been a recent constant trend, not something that has continued occurring past and present.

You exaggerate everything far too much.

Anyway, I don't see an issue with implementing a new subsection, and based on usage, determine if it's needed or not.
