[APPROVED/REVIEW] Change to Name Sales

What is your solution?

 

This does fix the process, by placing responsibility on those that should have it. I've never had any issues either with anybody that allowed me to transfer for them. That doesn't mean it's not an issue for others in the market, and this solution will help fix it.

 

A solution for a problem I don’t have?

 

That's an incredibly selfish viewpoint. Think of it in another context. Do you propose we do nothing to end poverty in developing countries? That isn't your problem either. To clarify, this isn't a problem I experience either - that doesn't mean I can't help it.

 

How many reported name snipes/scams have there been in the past 30 days?

 

I'm not counting them. Are you?

 

I don’t think there have been any.

 

Have you considered nobody bothers reporting it due to the difficulty of obtaining evidence? You were caught sniping numerous times and talked your way out of it, you know more than anyone else how hard it is to get banned.

 

We've both made it quite clear that neither of us have problems with our sales either, yet want to do something about those that do. Quite the selfish outlook.

Edit: Considering that you, like us, claim to have no issues with your sales either - then what harm would this suggestion actually cause for you? Would be able to carry on with no issues. Yet, it would help for those in the market that have been scammed by sellers that force responsibility on the buyers (as directly mentioned in @Milotic's first post).

 

Don’t get me wrong, because I’m not trying to take this to a personal level. I’m just voicing my own opinion on why I don’t support the suggestion. I agree that we need some more opinions shared on here.

 

Again then, I ask, what is your solution?

 

This isn't a problem I have either, don't try to act smart.

You don't support a solution to a problem that other people experience because you personally don't experience that problem.

What have you got to lose?

 

I'm honestly shocked so many people are against this. The service provider should be the one in charge of making sure the sale goes through as advertised. Most people seem to be a one-time name buyer and have no experience moving names, so it only helps, not hurts.

 

I don't support rules on how specific trades are conducted, I think it makes things messy and causes more problems than it solves.

In those cases there still is the possiblity, not the obligation, to use someone with experience.

im giving my full support because divine said no support, i had a good experience with my first time buying but I could see how someone new could be slow to move the name

Happy the experience went fine for you. Some aren’t as fortunate though :/
