    I think a lot of people like myself would like to see public record of all money that is collected through pardon system and other means.

    I could go through of list reasons why this is benefit and list of reasons why it is not. but main reason is a list of eyes on a system is better then a few.

    This would simpley have "ABM took x amount of gold [or $] from y and [Why] and [total in the ledger]"

    I'd have no issue with the CDT one being public either.

    doesn't need have who is holding it or anything like that

    To be fair Pendulum is the go-to for payments until it's handed over for a repayment, that's what he means by he's the only one who uses it. I can't remember the last time someone else accepted money for a pardon or report (unless it was handed over to the scammed person right away).

    idc either way, our ledger in SL is fine as is but I can see why you guys might want to know.

    I agree. I have done a handful of anti scams and it would be nice for me to be able to personally see a trail for it like it being given to a victim on x date or added to repayment fund x amt total. of course still trust the staff but seeing where it ends up doesnt hurt either.


    another option would just be during the "monthly "repayment fund dice rolls, there could be a quick "receipt" simply breaking down the money.


    i gave @video 81m couple months ago from an antiscam and theres a fair chance he paid for some lap dances with it

    Community Development Team currently has a ledger that I set up a while ago. I try to ensure that members use it just so we can keep a clear track of funds and whose holding them in what form as well as what they're supposed to be used for. I see no problem with our ledger being public if the community wants it, only thing is it would have to be restricted to CDT members/admins being able to post on it and we don't want a bunch of deleted posts from users who put spam on it. Could just be a locked post that would be updated with a spoiler that shows all previous transactions.

    Idc about the repayment fund. The CDT fund would be cool to see though. Every time a donation goes up the CDT could use it to hype up the next event
