[Approved]Forbid the sale of reportbots/services

I just came across this thread: Ultimate Steam/CSGO Services (ReportBot/TrustFactor/ID's/Hourboosting)

I've seen them before but it once again made me thinking; how do we not allow sniping bots, or tweeting out Sythe users, yet we do allow reporting their Steam/any other accounts to an extensive amount? I mean obviously you can't find out when someone reports your Steam account, nor can you know if someone uses a reportbot for someone on Sythe, but by forbidding them overall we atleast don't risk it either.

 

Agreed, rather rare case you have here but it makes sense that they should also be banned as they risk compromising accounts..

 

Agreed, this should be a warnable or bannable offense if advertised post-rule change, just like sniping names and cracked accounts.

Not a good thing to advertise, hope this is swiftly changed lol

 

I support for the summarized reasons above. This should be addressed sooner rather than later in my opinion.

 

Support. Not allowing sniping bots yet allowing something that mass reports seems weird to me.

 

No support. Report bots do little to no harm, steam does an excellent job in keeping the system somewhat automated yet distinguish fake from real reports. No need to ban/complicate the stickies further when they r already being ignored.
