Apple MacBook Pro With Retina Display

Thinking about picking up one of these when they are available on amazon, will be my first mac. Anyone have one or have any other thoughts about them?

 

Horrible cooling system. Otherwise, yeah, works fine.

 

How did you come to this conclusion? They claim they improved the cooling a lot.

 

Also it's overpriced, can't run games and generally not a good purchase unless you're a 'Apple fanboy'.

 

Yes, its very good Mac. But have a few lacks:
- fragile
- overpriced
- long time waiting and high price for hardware changing/support(could be a month)
But have a few "+" :
- good cooling system
- the display
- metal cover
- working stability

 

I believe it is still overpriced. Retina display is nice and all but not worth 1000$ more than the non retina display. The graphics card is somewhat outdated and you'll be waiting for a while because i think it is sold out in many places.
