    I think that's a cleaver advertising tactic that will make people believe that they need to buy their product just to be on the safe side.

    The iCloud concept isn't new. Microsoft has had their "Cloud" out for literally almost 2 years. Apple seems to copy a good idea, and either add some stupid fees, or some flashy "coolness" that makes it seem good.

    Anyways, that earthquake thing makes me want to punch Apple lol. I mean sure it's nice to have an alert, but why would you poke at the Japanese and reopen a wound? If they want an alert, they can listen to the radio, go online, watch the news, etc. Even if you have it on their iPhone, if an earthquake that huge happens, they won't have signal or WiFi in the first place.
