Anyone with Crohn's/Colitis would like help?

I feel that it is my duty to help people, like now. I am in College for Police Foundations and it is what I will be doing for the rest of my life anyway, might aswell start now. I am 19.

Anyone want advice on how to control their disease?

I have had the worse case of Crohn's for over 11 years, I have had ZERO surgeries since I was diagnosed and the doctors say it is a miracle. It runs in my family and I have had 3 family members that have passed because their Crohns turned into Colon/Colorectal cancer. My one aunt right now has it, they removed her all of her intestines and 30% of her stomach. I am living a normal lifestyle and have been in remission for 6 years.

I will recommend you to watch what you eat, and what foods to eat. I can recommend you medications and get you off the current medications if I feel that they are not helping you. You can bring the recommendations to your doctor, I can write him/her a personal letter stating why I think you'd benefit from certain medications from my own experience/what kind of IBD you currently have.

If I take long to reply, the one medication that instantly helps 10,000's with IBD is WEED

Marijuana, without it, I actually don't know where i'd be. Im just afraid right now to ask my doctor to sign forms so I can actually smoke it legally. I usually use 1 Gram a week, that is it. It regulated my weight, hunger and pain. Even phyco emotions that I have from steroids. (Suicidal thoughts and the though of killing people, common side effect from Steroids)

Please write here and I will help as best as I can!

God Bless, this disease is not to be taken lightly, you can lose your life.

Oh for crying out loud. Another hippie topic? I'm glad the disease hasn't taken your life, but I pity you for your alleged solution to your problem.

I'd recommend you Te a therapist as this is a serious problem rather seeking help on forums seek professional help.
