What's your elo at right now? Could give me an idea of what tips I should be giving.

 

There is no real secret, improve your gameplay. You're probably in the rank that you belong in, otherwise it shouldn't be hard for you to move up.

If you want to level quickly buy an xp boost, just normal 5v5s until you get there. it really doesn't take all that long.

 

if you want to level without buying xp, just play with bots (normal math Intermidate) and your good to go! It takes like 15-20 mins for me to finish that

Well, if you're looking to level up just spam AI Bot games and if you have a more experienced friend have him run some games with you. Dominion is a pretty fast way to level up as well honestly. The games are fast and they can still help you improve in map awareness and solo mechanics if you 1v1 bot. However, if you just play AI bots for dominion that's fine too.

As for elo boosting, I don't really think there's any risk in doing it currently. In any case though, if you really want to get better at the game you should just improve your own skills and learn the game through experience. I've seen so many higher elo players get boosted just because they want a specific "ranked" title and it's honestly pointless in my opinion if you're not at that skill level yourself. Now, perhaps you may just want to be boosted a few divisions or something, but I think doing it yourself is better.

 

should i watch videos on how to play or just play more hours each day?

 

Hmm, well first that's a good way to improve however. I'll give you a list of suggestions.


1. Know how to build your champions, look up guides on mobafire.com or solomid.net

The guides will give you in-depth tactics and skill building sequences for your champion.

2. Know your counters and know how play against them. Basically this is comes from experience but there are tips that can definitely help.

3. As you mentioned, watch videos on guides for certain champions possibly, or watch pro-players stream on twitch.tv
Players from different LCS (championship series) teams stream all the time. So just take a look whenever you'd like.


3.Practice, practice, practice! As they say practice makes perfect. It definitely will help you get better.

By gaining your own experience through playing League you will be able to know when to trade against players, farm properly, team fight better, know your own limits, and basically know the game.

 

Find one-two champions, in each role, that you excel at and utilize them.
