Bot Busting Bans

Since returning to Oldschool I have gotten 2 of these types of bans on separate accounts, however I didn't even bot on the 2nd one.

It says these types of bans are unnapealable, just wondering do they ever become appealable ?? and how long does that take?

I'd sort of like to get rid of the blackmarks on my account that didn't even bot.

 

I have yet to see anyone being able to appeal to this new sort of ban. Yet you are able to contact jagex support and they will look further into the case. It is often the case that they will crack down on many account connected to the same IP address

Like said above u will need to email jagex and have them look in to it but if the account where played on the same ip that is more then likely why u got it on both accounts

 

They are not appealable, the appeals will be 'pending' forever.

 

The offence disappears or expires exactly one year after it is committed. By the way, doesn't 2 bot busting bans = permanent ban?

 

Your IP is flagged. Change your IP, contact them and you'll get unbanned.

 

Thats a very good point. If you do get banned on one account, try to change your ip it can help save your other accounts. Yet often its already to late as all the accounts are still connected to the flagged IP

 

Clear your runescape cache completely, aswell as your jagex cache, this should clear any cookies jagex are using to keep track of your account

 

Also your IP, silly goose.
