    The future of unwearables?

For those that don't know what unwearables are, I'll just post a simple list below:
    Easter Egg
    Disk of returning
    Pumpkin
    Half wine

    Worthless or priceless?

    Post your thoughts.

They are still in low supply and are able to be traded, so I assume their position will hold as being a rare item; however, wine is uber rare so god knows if itll jump or what lol

Worthless in a couple of years, you cant really show them off unlike the other rares.

A rare is a rare. No matter how 'ugly' or useless, they will always rise.

Until there's a massive dumping of them, possibly..

Judging from current rare prices, I'd say they will drop, but most people are in panic due to this beta update and combat thing. Long term it will most likely rise; cant see it dropping unless more are released.

Over the next few years these item's will become extremely hard to get a hold of.

I see them rising. Not as quickly as Phats/etc (other than wine) but still rising, becoming almost a placeholder item. I imagine they will get so rare that they will be nearly priceless.

I've been thinking this also, but it also depends on whether or not the hoarders decide to sell them or keep them.

    The future of unwearables?

Yeah that's their only use really. Because of this people will not sell and lose their placeholder and the demand will be high and very low supply, will rise further.
I however don't like them, you can't really show them off without being arrogant and trading people it.

Obviously they will rise since there aren't many of then in the game. Since the stock cant meet the demand they will rise.

    The future of unwearables?

Pumpkin won't rise much further.. idiots feed them to trolls or eat them themselves.. same with half wine and easter egg.. but the disk of returning actually did something neat and was pretty cool (i had one when it was 5m in 07 ish.. sold for 6m).. so they'll always rise due to people just wanting to own a peice of rs's history per se

Hmmm... Well my prediction is that the half wine could raise a lot due to their being a lower amount of them but other things like the pumpkin won`t as I feel that they have about reached their cap now.

I used to have an easter and a disk back when they were only 5M too...

Personally, I think that pumpkin / easter will stabilize around similar prices due to having similar characteristics.

A rare will never be "worthless". As runescape dies, gp value goes down and the price of in game rares goes up.

I would bet that they would go up. No reason to think they would go down (constant or shrinking supply with inflation of gp). I also just feel like so many people nowadays have the money to buy rares, so the demand for these items may go up as well.

They are a bit more volatile than the other types of rares. I would invest in hats over edibles.

It's like expensive wine. It tastes like shit but because it has low supply it's very costly.
