The memories that stand out for me are the group of lads that i used to hang about with, we did everything together.. wether it be pking at mage bank, kq trip, castle wars or even just fishing sharks at catherby we seemed to always have a great laugh.. it didnt matter if we didnt make gold etc, if someone was short on gold one of us would help them out.

I miss the good 'ol days x

Feel like theirs too many threads on this, but either way...Runescape from classic to 2006, was top notch. Can easily say that Runescape was one of the highlights of my life ages 8-12, with sports.

I was around when 1M was like "HOLY SHIT YOU'RE RICH!" and getting up EVERY skill made profit in some way...

I was around when people actually spoke in the game and it was a fun social thing rather than a constant competition...

And most importantly, I was around when RS had the normal world map with next to NO minigames... The game was fun by itself... didn't need constant D&D's or minigames or jagex events or social slayer or clan events. The thing was fun by itself, you found a clan through google or word of mouth, you had fun with friends doing stupid things around the world... Rather than having to constantly get on, buy some materials, and level up..... And when you get maxed back then, it was still fun.

I remember on my first day of runescape I was lured into the mages just south of varrock and died -.- Then the person spent 15 minutes laughing at me.
