I want YOUR Opinion

Right, as Im bored arouned my house, I've decided to come back to computer gaming.
I've been thinking to myself what to play and I want your opinion
(Despite me having a very good knowledge or all 3 games, Including 2 Level 85's on WoW)
So can you help me choose a game?
I have the choice of:

RuneScape - Experienced Levels ( 3 99's)

WoW - 2 85's, 80, 73, 70 and all others 40+...

Habbo - Never really played the actual .com Version but Im an Admin on a Retro Its kl

 

Runescape, you'll save yourself money as you can buy membership with it's currency via this site.

 

I have found video games to be increasingly boring. I would say to play warhammer 40k but i am not even sure whether i want to start again.

 

Runescape, like the 2nd post said, so much less expensive...

 

I would go with Runescape. If you are playing legit you will get aggravated at times, due to botters, but you will enjoy playing it in your downtime.

 

Runescape, it's fun and easy to buy cheap gold etc. To give you a head start.

 

Runescape, you can do quests and everything, as well as trade your earnings for irl via this website. it's a win win situation

 

WoW if you can handle boss mechanics.

 

I'd say Runescape, and also... I've noticed this too.

I've been a spending a lot more time trying to get skilled at keyboard/piano. I've only been playing about 7 1/2 months and Maple Leaf Rag is challenging as hell so it keeps me trying. I just learned how to use both hands simultaneously well enough today on a couple of measures... so it looks like I'll be ragtiming hard in weeks/months

 

I would say runescape since its a lot easier than all the other ones you put.

Proably everyone here who said runescape has never played WoW...

It really depends on you. If you have 2 level 85's on WoW and you're not sure what to play, continuing WoW isn't probably your best option. It sounds like you're bored with WoW. The same applies to runescape. Not being sure if you want to continue if you know what you can expect from a game usually means you're bored with it. I don't know about habbo, never played it.

What are your friends playing? Are there any other games except MMO's you enjoy? How much money are you willing to spend on a game, etc.

Well, From what I've seen, almost all of you have been saying RuneScape.
As much as I love World of Warcraft AND RuneScape, I must base my decision purely on what I enjoy most.
Once up on a time I had 400m on RuneScape, lost it all by getting hacked (WoW Also got hacked at the time but I got it back with a free 1000g )
Without cash on RuneScape its a bore to me, I hated training, I could only do a skill for about 30 minutes.
Yes, I know that you can buy / sell RuneScape for irl here, But you can do that with WoW too.
I did a Price Check on my WoW account and it averaged at about 600$, Whereas my RuneScape averaged at just 60$.
Its not that I got bored of WoW Its that my Play-Time expired.
and Yes, I knew boss mechanics inside out, I was tank... So Had to :L
I think one thing that had put me of WoW was Cataclysm, I was enjoying running ICC with my guild everyday and I even tanked it in like 4 tanking gear items and 10 healing gear items... But now with the Insanely hard heroics ( Didn't do any raid time - Quit about January - My main had 7 epics which at the time made me one of the leading Tank paladins on the realm)
From what that all says, You probably all think I suit WoW more..
So do I.

I miss my 70 fully epiced mage :'(

Runescape is always a good option, as you can opt out if you get bored without wasting much, if all, real life money


EDIT: Just read your above post. You obviously enjoy WoW a lot more than Runescape so I strongly suggest getting back into that if you're bored, as it seems you didn't have much choice in quitting in the first place.

 

World of Warcraft is much better than RuneScape, you even seem to think that.
You got hacked in RS, did Jagex give your stuff back? Does Jagex even have customer support? No.

You got hacked in WoW... no biggie, takes maybe a week maximum to get your stuff back, and some GMs are dumb and you sometimes get something extra (happened to me as well)

I used to like runescape when I was like 9 or 10, and I quit it for WoW, because WoW is much better than runescape.

FYI, you're asking a forum where most of the members are into RuneScape.

 

hard to get into WoW imo,
the first 40 levels are realy boring without help of friends,there is almost noone in the starting areas what makes you feel so lonely...
but the end games makes it all worth it:noworry:

 

Yeah, I was hacked and a gold seller hacked me and sold everything on the Horde side of my account (at the time was WotLK and only had a 80 and other toons on Horde). Well anyway, I log on too find my 61 DK was deleted with a level 1 orc in Ratchet, I go on there, find 1300g (Probably going to be traded / sent shortly). Then I message the GM, they get all my things back (Including my Badges of Frost - They spent them on Primordial Saronites & honor on gems) and I get to keep the 1300g
Some things go your way nicely.
But then when they bought back my DK I got a bug, being as I deleted the warrior, The game system thought I had 11 Characters and couldn't get on my Realm, So I log on another realm, Message a GM and they responded in near 5 minutes which is like 1/10 of there normal time :L
He fixed it in a flash and I was back.

I get back to RuneScape with a boring naked man.

and I first started playing official WoW after I started a Private Server years back, Much had changed but when I joined it was still Vanilla, So I got to about 50 which was quite fun on a Rogue then BC comes out, TBH the memories of me killing Shadow elementals from 67-70 for there Mote of Shadow for 4g each was epic Then getting my first ever flying mount
Much has changed with WoW, some good, some bad, But If you start with a friend and even a close friend with Recruit a Friend XP (anyone will join you if your the 'friend') then 1-40 is a breeze!


and yeah, I've made my mind up to go back to WoW very shortly.
Only problem is what I had before, I quit about 3 weeks after WotLK then re-started playing after about 3 months into WotLK, So I was far behind :l
Now I got the same problem I spose :L
Nvm, If my guild (which I was Co-Owner of a 150+ 80-85 guild level 14 when I left) hasn't kicked me, Im sure they'll boost me through some places for gear.

Oh and what also is giving me that extra kick to rejoin is that i spent about £30 / $50 on Catacylsm and quit a few weeks after... Lol dayumm
