The Emerald Jewel Wasp

Hey guys,

Basically, what this thing does is it finds a cockroach, paralyzes it, stings it and injects venom. This venom blocks dopamine receptors in the roachs brain, therefore leaving it unable to run away, or even fight back as the baby wasps eat it from the inside out. After paralysis, the wasp hides the roach in a burrow somewhere, and it lays it's eggs in the roach.

I think this is crazy, what about you?

Wow that's crazy. It just makes me think of how vegatarians are against people eating meat when theres way more fucked up shit in nature.

 

This creeped the shit outta me. I felt nauseated looking at the larvae. =[

 

Humans are smart enough to eat other things, and animals do it on instinct. If you don't have to, then don't.

 

Yeah, I've read quite a few of their articles, and they're really entertaining and informative.
