How Much Did These Famous Logo Designs Cost?

Was very surprised by this I saw it on one off Philip Defranco's videos. BP paid 211 Million dollars for their current logo. I wonder how that worked, did some graphics designed just come to them with the design and BP decided they would pay $211M?

 

Ridiculous, its impossible to believe when BP first formed they went right, time to rustle up a logo, we've got 211m here to spend, go find it.

No virtual image what so ever is worth 211m, whoever made it i bet spent 24 hours max creating it, simply illogical.

 

I'm not really into conspiracy theories but maybe the payment wasn't really for the logo. How can you justify spending $211M on a logo it's ridiculous.

 

Perhaps we've got it wrong here, maybe the BP logo has been determined to be estimated at being worth 211m, this figure being generated by how recognisable it is, how wide spread it is, and its value to the customer.

No way some graphic designer got 211m for making it, the figure imo is probably its value not production cost.

It's not just for the logo, it's for the whole marketing campaign that comes with it. No one would pay that much for one, that's just absurd.

Wow, I never knew the logo's would cost so much.

 

It's how much they payed money they payed the creators of the logo. Because I remember someone told me the Nike company asked someone to create a logo for them and only payed the person 35$. Later they became a multi-million dollar company and they only payed 35$ for the famous logo.
