    Is discord safe as we think?
    It's safer than Skype if that's what you're asking. The reason why is because there are no ad trackers, so as long as you don't click under any links you're fine, and people can't obtain your IP unless you click other users links. You can't guarantee safety, but in terms of voice communication networks like Skype, TeamSpeak, Discord, Curse; discord is ultimately the safest out there today.

    Make sure to set up two factor authentication on Discord as well, it also warns you when you click on dodgy links sometimes

    Discord is definitely the safest platform out there.

    I completed deleted my TS and Skype. There is no need for them anymore.

    I have said this before but really Skype always runs the risk of getting booted. Haven't run into this on discord. Much safer than most programs out there now.

    I really recommend Discord. It's super safe to use as your IP can not be obtained unless you click on something malicious that someone posted. The only reason I still use Skype is because more people have/know about Skype. Once Discord becomes a bit more popular I'll probably ditch Skype all together.

    Another thing I like about Discord compared to TeamSpeak is that it looks a little bit more clean and easy to use. Also custom emojis and being able to customize privileges for each and every person is another great aspect about Discord.

    I've started using Skype less and less since I begun using Discord.
    Find it much more convenient to use too.
    Never really considered the safety of it but the comments above gave me food for thought.
