hi theres this site called madbid.com, where you can bid for stuff and win them for cheap.

People win brand new expensive cars for around £100.

The business makes money by charging bidders to enter a bid.

I thought of giving it a try, but would it be extremely difficult to win.

I was reading about it the other day, most of the people say its a "scam". Because the owners can just easily higher the bids them selves, so it's difficult to win. You have to spend a lot of money to be able to higher the bid all the time, and nobody even knows if you're going to win.

I mean it's not literally a scam, but your winning rate is really low and IF you do win, you would have spent a lot of cash in order to do so.

Never tried it but I won't recommend you to use it if there is no positive feed back.

    It's a huge scam.

Nobody wins, it's a 1$ a bid. Somehow there's like ~100 bids at the last second of every trade.

It's all shenanigans. Use your brain real quick, why can they afford to do this? Because they're profiting.

Things like Quibids, madbid and things like that aren't technically 'scams'. They send the items, as I've won a 3DS, 3 Pairs of Beats solo's and a few giftcard for relatively cheap.

HOWEVER, I only recommend using these sites if you're already purchasing the item, and have the money to do so. This is because on at least Quibids, you can buy the item after the auction is over even if you lose, and it subtracts the amount you spent in bids. If you spend 50$ on bids and don't win, then they take 50$ off the amount of the item.

You have a small chance of actually winning, as these things can last hours, but if you're already buying the item I see no point in not doing it.

thanks guys, yeah i just read up a bit more about it. And many people complain of going broke, and still not winning anything.

Some people spend 200pounds on bidding, just to get beaten by one person who spends around 75p. Sad

Where there's gullible people with money, there's always people who will take advantage of it.

Absolutely not, pay-to-bid sites are giant scams that force you to pay ridiculous amounts of non-refundable money just to be outbid 99 out of 100 times. The 100th time where you actually win something is not even worth the money, as you've already invested as much or more than the retail price of the item you just won.

Why bump this? You've already got the answer to your question... If you're waiting for someone to say "omg ive won $10,000,000 worth of stuff for only $60!", it's not going to happen because these sites are 100% scams with zero happy customers.
