Anyone know where/how to make an image transparent?

I need to know for Sythe etc. I don't want a background obviously cause it looks stupid.

Anyone know where/how to make them transparent? The ones online you need to pay for or would anyone be able to do it for me?

 

Look out for PNG or GIF files which use transparency. Online images can be transparent, but rather than copying them into a document, save them instead.

Uses transparency and is available online. However, if you copy and paste the image, you lose transparency as you cannot (as far as I know) copy transparency. So you therefore must save the image (right click > save) and then open it in editing software to use transparency.

As for saving an image with transparency, it differs with the software you have available. Just ensure when you save as either PNG or GIF that you check a box somewhere that says "Enable transparency" or something similar.
