Need Internet help

Im not in any way a computer tech savvy guy. lately ive noticed my ping/lag w.e u call it has been way outta control. I mean im used to nothing over 130 even euro worlds. Im seein like 100+ on all worlds including ones near me. Wtf is wrong i have the bets internet available and kick ass comp. I have good strength on wifi.. need help its cost me several bil the last few days cuz im not able to switch my styles fast enough due to lag and its fuckin pissen me off.

I share my connection with 5 other computers/laptops. It makes a MASSIVE differance what the other people are doing on their computers. My sister goes on Tumblr, and every time she loads a page, my internet fucks up. Another thing that wrecks connection is downloading (may just be my internet, but it certainly fucks it up). I suggest you turn off any computers, stop downloading, stop watching videos and livestreams ect, if you are, and also maybe move the router next to your comp? You could also buy a router, but yeah, I'm not a tech guy, but if you have your own router you shouldnt run into these problems.

Well, like it's been suggested, turn off any other hardware that are using the internet... have you called your provider and explained to them your situation? They'd be able to help you for sure.

The fact that you are using WiFi certainly doesn't help. A wired connection will always be more stable.

Have you contacted your ISP? They could be repairing/upgrading their network infrastructure, and while companies do that they tend to suck HARD. They usually have information about this on their website, but an alternative is to just call their customer support and ask if they are doing anything.

An external factor other than your ISP doing work on their network could be faulty networking equipment that they do NOT know about. If this is happening to you regularly, and is happening to you on every computer in the house/every website you visit, contact your ISP and have them send a service person out:

The service person will test your connection in the house to see what is up, and if he doesn't find anything (or even if he does and doesn't know what to do), have him check the connection on the STREET from your house. There could be weather/water damage in the street-side box, and that can affect you a little or affect you a lot.
