vps for torrent downloading/file uploading?

I have a crappy internet connection. I have the bane of all computer nerds, dialup.

But I do have access to a somewhat decent download speed at school.

Sadly, torrents are blocked. Don't see anyway of unblocking them unfortunently.

But as for regular downloading, it reletively unblocked.

Is there a way for me to download torrents via a vps, then download the file to a computer from the vps?

Im looking mainly for a guide on how to do this, one that preferably includes a list of recommended vps's for doing do.

 

Yes this is possible, afterwards you can transfer the files betwee your VPS and your own computer with an upload site such as megaupload or rapidshare.

Or you can use teamviewer for example, you can transfer files with that aswell.

 

Or use FTP to get it from the VPS to your computer, much faster than using Megaupload/Rapidshare/TeamViewer.

Anyway, what you want is a seedbox. Google it and find a good provider.

 

Yes, I already knew that it was possiable.

But im after a guide to tell me how to. Knowing that a house can be built is much diffrent from building a house yourself.

 

What about sending what u want from ur vps to ur pc with msn or smth like that, you know what i mean.
