Ahh old memories. The guy who was hosting the party got banned for rwting, as he needed money for college. Drurial was benned for bug abusing, but then came back as The Box Noob or something like that. I remember being there, followed Durial until j-mod dissconected him at edgeville. Actually, if you pause at 1:22 you can see me, I'm the guy on the left with long brown hair and red top. I miss these old times

I had quit RS at the time, didn't even hear about until like 2 years later. Would've awesome to be there though, watching kids get destroyed

 

I played back then. I was in another world and a friend PM'ed me and told me all hell was breaking loose. World was full, but oh well. I would have probably been one of those people in the wrong place at the wrong time and lost all my stuff, I was like 14 back then.

 

the fighting ring caused it all, because he ended up kicking people as they were fighting, so thats how the glitched started

Ha I remember that shit. I was in fally when the big swarm of people came, and everyone was constantly getting barraged. Most people were chanting at the glitchers to barrage/kill them, as they thought it was a joke. But yeh, it wasn't a joke, and people definitely lost hundreds of mills worth of items (which was actually a lot back then)

I agree that most people in this thread are bullshit. I was actually there but no in cursed you's house. Just standing outside the portal. There were only 2,000 people online and i doubt that everyone thats posted was in that group.

For people that weren't there, events outside the portal were really boring actually just everyone spamming and mods telling people to bank their valuables.

 

Wish I was there. Heard about it the next day. The usual "friend-of-a-friend was there" story. Although I saw the guy who lost his Green PHats forum post, and a JMod posting: "We can't help you."

I heard about it from countless friends after it happened but did not participate in it.

I highly doubt that 30 of you were at this event, probably 3-5 at the max. But that's pushing it.
