Anyone here know how to get RS bots on a mac? :o

Hey!, I really really really really.. Really. Want to get Runescape bots for my mac computer but i have no idea what so ever how to do that.. Can anyone with a mac * or knows how to do it on a mac * help me get started with bots by helping me download and run one?

If anyone could i would be EXTREMELY thankful


~ Extra Details ~

- My mac is version 10.5.8 right now.

- Would definitely prefer if you could just do this for me by using a program such as team viewer ( or any program that lets you control someone elses computer ).

- If you couldn't do that a tutorial would be great * either a link , or you just saying go here , download this , do that. *




Please, Someone help me i have been wanting a bot forever but having a very hard time doing it myself lol.. And yes, i know i am stupid since i can't seem to do this myself .

1. download vmware
2. download windows xp
3. install windows xp on vmware
4. run vmware in mac
5. play rs

 

i think i am going to still not use vmware but thank you for suggesting i may use it if i can't find another way..

as for other people reading this i downloaded the Zip file from rsbots, i just mainly need help on what to type into the terminal * i also have java 6 as default *

what do i type?.. cd /desktop/botclient.zip ???

Isn't there usually a run.sh alternative compared to a run.bat, when RSbot was still up and running I remember a mod/admin ran it on a mac easily.

 

Rscheata.com has a guide for it, but you have to be a verified member for that, PM me your rscheata username and ill give you a link.

 

Try using a program like crossover, it runs great. It's a windows xp environment emulator.

 

The neXus client from RSCA (impulse software) has Mac support

It's as easy as clicking a file named install-mac-linux.sh

Mmm.. If you happen to get this to work atm, the Free bots are down, and won't be up for another few days according to the RSbot.com Forums.

and aw bots are down? oh well at least i will be prepared when it comes back on

i know that nassyh but i am having trouble with the terminal part like i said =|.

 

ye mate i had the same problem,
im running on the top edition macbook pro laptop
following the rsbots.net steps for installation on mac is not as easy as it seems.
when i tried to do it terminal didnt respond to some run.sh command
so i just went back on my windows comp and leave it on all day

but vmware is goood

 

yo man, pm me, i have a lot of expirience with this stuff. i can do it all for you via teamviewer. i can get any bot up and running for you (rsbots.net, rstrainers.org, etc)

This pretty much sums it up if you buy from rsbots.net/autofighter.org/etc.
Since Java is cross-platform, any bot that's currently out should run on a mac.
In the rare case that it doesn't, rip a copy of linux/xp to a virtual machine and run it there.

 

vmware is so good the U.S Army uses it.
