Anyone heard of RID?

Has anyone heard and/or used RID? RID is Robots in disguise, I looked into the client but found it really hard to learn and not very user friendly.

 

New version of RiD "genesis" was supposed to come out/has been in development for ages.
Seems pretty dead.

Stick with - TRiBot, OSBot, RSPeer, etc.

 

I purchased beta access but it was so confusing to operate and the forums seemed really dead.

 

With all due respect to RiD: the whole Genesis project is a huge scam. It's been in "development" forever.

Ask for a refund or chargeback. How much did you pay btw?

 

I've been in the process of getting a refund for 8 months. Still waiting.

Jesus. Can't believe it's still in development. Last I heard about this was almost a decade ago.
At the time they removed all of their scripts and focused on this All-In-One called Genesis.

Hundreds of members paid for the beta (including myself) and nothing ever came out of it.
I had purchased lifetime credits during RiD and it included Genesis but I've never used it.

 

I thought mark snellman got so screwed by jagex he went into hiding....

 

Right, they made Nexus/iBot.
RiD is different.

 

Reading their forum, it does seem to be kind of usable for bank standing activities. But still quite limited overall. Once you buy it, it also seems to be quite hard to get a refund for.
There are fanboys who still praise it highly. The bunch who regularly uses the phrases like "soon", "rid is working on it", "undetectable", "be patient", "will be implemented in future release", "don't like?? then refund!", "it kind of works" etc.

I like the idea of it. Would love to see the working implementation ("soon") as well.

I remember seeing them a while ago and the client looked promising. Sad to hear it didn't work out for them

 

From reading their forums, it look's like only bank standing activities are viable.
