Venmo

Okay, so I just started this job, and my boss actually pays us using Venmo. He says its sort of the same as direct deposit since he uses the bank transfer. So, I was wondering, does anyone use Venmo to purchase anything online. For example, maybe buying an account off Sythe, or something along the lines of that. I'm just looking for user reviews for those kinda of things.

Yeah I get that. But does anyone use it to buy things online? Like maybe runescape accounts, etc.

Okay. I was just wondering. Because most of my trading I use real world transfers, like Western Union, Walmart to Walmart, and things like that. I don't normally trade with ragp and things like that. I'm a gold buyer, not a seller.

I wouldn’t recommend Venmo for online trading because it can be reversible if someone is linking it to a credit card and then disputing it

 

Yeah he sends it, and then I transfer it to my bank account. Takes 24 hours, but it’s all good.

 

Yes I use it to buy things online. A loophole to do so is to get the Venmo Debit Card, which is free I might add. It works as a debit card using the balance on your Venmo account, and then your real debit card / bank account can be linked to the venmo card/account to apply funds to the venmo card.

But yes I have also made $400 sales on Sythe using Venmo. Its used for peer-to-peer transactions and not business stuff so Venmo reps will not reverse trades. A person would have to charge back through their bank which is fraud..
