    French horrors.

I have been watching so many horror films lately i did watch quarantine when it came out and tbh, didn't like it all that much.

Well I heard about martyrs, so i went ahead and watched it yesterdya pretty good first half was actually scary to me, then it was interesting.

So i looked into french horrors, i dont mind reading subs, would rather read subs then listen to American voice overs lol, anyway i found Rec, and Rec 2, So i just downloaded them and started watching rec 1, when i realized it was quarantine the orignal. and I must say its better then the american version IMO. so hopefully 2 will be pretty good.

if anybody else has any good recent french horror plz post.

    French horrors.

I think original horrors are more intense. They're much better than the typical "gore-horror", they focus more on the psychological intensity, suspense etc.

Most recent horror films are filled with phony gore which distracts us from the fact that they aren't scary at all. A really creepy example of what I mean is "Begotten", although it does have gore in it, it focuses more on the psychological horror.

My favorite actor is Vincent Price, he's one of the best old-fashioned horror actors, he's been in such amazing films, you should see his films, such as "The Invisible Man" and "House on Haunted Hill".

I know they're neither French or recent but you should give them a try, much more intense psychologically than visually.
