Slayer on a Pure.

Hey, i havn't played in a while, was wondering if there's any new ways of levelling slayer faster on pures. I have a 50 99 1 pure trying to get to 55 slayer for Leaf-bladed sword currently at 35. Is cannoning still the fastest way to do it? or is there a new quest or activity that let's you get er done faster.

 

Nope pretty much the same old way.. lol i would know i spent a year geting 99slayer

 

just do smoking kills, and use the highest slay master you can, then if you can afford cannon the tasks that allow it.

 

troll stronghold gives quite a bit of slayer xp i think it gives lamps but you use them on slayer, its like 10k xp gl on 55 slayer! i'm 52/55 on my tank If you need any help pm me and i can give you my MSN

 

Search the quests that give you slayer exp and as teh99prayerkid said use that 2 10k exp lamps on slayer but you cant use it if the skill is already above 30 :S or around something like that.

 

it's very......very slow I've been recently training slayer on my pure, and even with maxxed stats (99 range, mage, strength, constitution) 80 attack and chaotics im only 67 slayer. I have done smoking kills and I cannon every task that is possible to cannon. I'm using summona but will be doing shilo village soon for duradel for longer tasks. Also, if your ever tempted to buy the 10k slay xp for 400 tokens, slap yourself across the face and don't do it, it takes forever to get that many tokens and 10k xp is a single task. I'm trying to get the tokens to buy the ability to craft the slayer ring, I'm hoping that will speed things up, i already have the full slay helm.
