NO f2p effect on 2007 economy

What will be the effect of having no f2p on the economy of 2007 runescape?

IMO: It's deffinetly important to have a f2p community to grind out all the noobish items, which I cba to get once I advance enough levels

 

I think it would be a smart business move for jagex to offer at least some kind of free trial whether it be a few days, week or a month especially since not every runescape player was around to experience runescape in 2007 and may be hesitant to pay for extra membership to play a old game.

 

I believe, after a few months, Jagex will allow F2P users to access RS2007. Right now they just want to get paid. After a few months when the money-gain-curve (if you will) starts to level out again they will implement F2P. The first few months will almost be a 'Headstart' for those users who want to pay the extra $$.

 

they wont get new players playing the old 2007 game for sure, people would think why would they pay more if they can play eoc instead. i think they should just get rid of one of em id pick 2007 to stay since theres more people who wants it back

 

Eventually F2P will be an option, as they will realise that people want to try before they buy. That's why they are giving us a month for free now.

 

Well logically you would think so....but this is Jagex we're talking about....
