How to edit video and voice clips to sound like a chipmunk

Hello and welcome to my audio editing guide.

Ever wonder how people make their voices so high and make it sound like a chipmunk. No, they don't just talk high. They use Audacity. Audacity is a free, cross-platform sound editor.

Step 1: Download Audacity at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Step 2: When its done downloading, an installation file should be on your desktop now:

Step 3: Install Audacity and open it. When you open it you need to import your song or audio file. I imported the song 100 years to live by Five for Fighting.

    Press ok to import it.

Step 4: Now you have your song in we have to change the pitch of the song:
Go to Edit, Select and Select All

Now go to effects and click change pitch:

Step 5: Change it to these settings:

Press ok and it should change the pitch:

Step 6: Now press play and your song should have a chipmunk voice. Thanks for reading and have fun!
