Macro Major Permaban, Appeal strategy?

So I have 2 cases of macroing major after botting woodcutting, I'm not sure if it was manual or not because it doesn't say, but it was an immediate permaban. There are two duplicate entries under the account management and apparently I can appeal both of them as of now.

I know the chances of getting unbanned are slim to none, but I figure I might as well use the two appeals. I was wondering if I should appeal immediately or waiting 1-2 months and login with a different IP address and then appeal. I say this because my playing habits ever since I quit RS in like 2008 has been me logging in ever few months, playing for a few days and stopping for another few months. I also think that an immediate appeal would seem suspicious.

I am thinking of waiting the 1-2 months, then appealing it saying that my account got hacked. The thing is, I'm sure they have the IP addresses that I botted under, which was my home and library wifi which would show the same geographical location. I am wondering if they keep a long history of IP's to where you play( I have had no previous macroing offense), and if they did they would know that I would be in a different location than where I usually play?

If they only had the two IP's I botted under recently, and if I use a vpn to contact them and appeal it shouldn't be a problem, I would say that the hacker used the two other IP's in that location, and I just logged in 2 months later and found out?

In summary, how would I make a convincing argument that my account was hacked and provide proof for it for my appeal. The account is several years old from 06 and is well rounded/ not a bot account. It only had one offense which was like a day mute for account sharing in like 2010 or something.


In order to convince them I got hacked, should I do things like change my password, then later use password recovered? Or just leave it the same password?
