Terraria - My all time favourite sandbox game

If you guys haven't heard of it, Terraria is one of my most played/favourite games of all time. For the third time, they've completely doubled game content for free.

For a game I bought for 1.99 on Steam it's been one of my best purchases ever. Multiplayer, tier system, sandbox, it's got everything!

Share if you're interested in playing, we could possibly get a Sythe server going! If you're new and interested, hit up some other guys. It's super fun to start out with others, make sure to hug the wiki at the start!

Think minecraft but 2d. It may look scrubby at the beginning, but it's pretty awesome.

 

I'll have to agree terraria was insane I loved it it's a shame they stopped updating that and cod waw/mw2 was my child hood and runescape of course

 

They've released tons of new updates. I bought it years ago, and there is tons more to do now. Plenty of convenience updates too.

 

How is the multiplayer experience in this game? I have only been playing it in single player

 

On pc? Last update I saw was the waterfall one? And just realised I
T wrote terrorist haha! I know they got it on but just like mine craft I don't think it's the same...

 

On Pc I find it very fun especially when your cave exploring and the competition to get to the chests is hilarious but sad when some gets the better items haha

A good friend of mine absolutely loves this game. I tried it but couldn't get into it.

 

I have it, haven't played it too much though to be honest. I heard though that the recent update added an immense amount of content, and playing with other players became incredibly simple.

 

This. I've only tried single player which is probably nothing like multiplayer from what I saw. Got a friend and myself one each, we both tried single player and thought nothing much of it. We know it is probably fun but we just don't play much anymore lately.

 

Got it a few days ago and I agree it is a very good game.

 

Try multiplayer now. It's super fun. It helps to select a "class" for each too. Totally fun to play as the tank or archer for your team. You can also debuff bosses or set aside an add control member. Back in the day multiplayer was seriously tough to setup, but it's only a few clicks now.
