Buy or Sell: South Central > Boyz n the Hood?

Ive been watching hood films for quite a while now, and I just found South Central on YouTube. I watched the entire thing, and it was an amazing movie, it delivers a good message, it catches the watchers attentio early on, I'm confident that it's amongst the best hood films I've seen. On the other hand Boyz n the Hood, is the og of og movies, and while its good, it seems overrated to me, but to others it's sub-par and un-parrallelable. Does anyone think South Central is really creative for a Hood film, and better then Boyz n the Hood?

South Central is a great film, but I personally like Boyz n the Hood more. Fresh, Menace to Society, Paid in Full, and One Eight Seven are also some of my favorites. I think Fresh is very creative and one of my favorite films. I'm sure you would really enjoy it if you haven't seen it already. You can watch it at this site, along with any other movie.
