Question about Powerbot hack

When i heard about the Powerbot hack I immediately changed my password

But my question is:

Was the Rsbot-224.jar version the only infected one?

cuz I had 223 but never updated it to 224.

Also I have deleted all of Rsbot components and did a scan. Looks like im fine (hope so though)

 

I heard it was actually the 222. Just delete it, with hold from botting on powerbot for a few weeks or even a month to wait for this to get worked out.

 

I have a cracked 2.25 And thats virus free i think.

 

Does anyone know if it installs a virus on your pc? because my mate got hacked twice even after changing his password/recovering

I'm on a Mac, and I'm pretty sure the keylog doesn't work on macs. I haven't got hacked yet, anyone here on a Mac get hacked yet?

 

I'm on Linux Ubutu, so I don't really think there's anything for me to worry about. Does make me think twice, though. Oh well.

 

It would probably work with macs because they probably built it with java, which they built in the bot in, which is a multi operating system language.

wow.. well. so far i'm fine. idk if it affects macs. better be safe and change my pw anyway.

 

Stealthbot is not java, an it only works on windows. If that's what they used, everyone else is safe.

 

Stealthbot was just the botnet aspect of the whole thing. Every operating system was affected because it sent the saved information you stored in the account manager.
